This entire website is being completely re-crafted and refurbished, which is a huge project. So if things seem incomplete in places or buttons don't link to anything yet, don't worry. It will all be reconstructed so the layout is easy to use and everything will be easier to locate.
The Quests Page
There are many different kinds of quests that will open and become available to be played by player-controlled characters as well as by the non-player, Storyteller-controlled Contestants in the Contest of Will.
MANDATORY TASKS - Every round of the contest will be different, though some of these tasks will repeat from one round to the next. If a player successfully performs a majority of the mandatory quests he or she will be considered the Task List Winner for the round and receive the huge prize that Mr. Confetti has available.
FUN-TIME TASKS - In addition to the Mandatory Tasks, Mr. Confetti has additional, non-mandatory tasks that award points, and/or a special prize. It is to the players' benefits to do these Fun-Time Tasks before other players in the contest do, because often they can only be achieved once and then they will disappear.
GRAPEVINE QUESTS - New information is constantly being revealed about the various things happening in the region. Secrets to be uncovered. A princedom to be won, and the personal motivations of each and every Kindred in the land can be explored. When new information occurs, players in the game have the opportunity to pursue that line of inquiry and see what turns up. Mr. Confetti awards 250 points to players who uncover a new secret, and may award other prizes at his leisure when he deems information worthy of pursuit.
Each available quest will have its own unique page, filled with all of the current pertinent information. Some quests are time-sensitive and must be handled by the players before the expiration, or the living world that the players live in will continue to evolve. Sometimes, not pursuing a quest to see what happens on its own may be the best course. But that is something each player will need to determine on his or her own.
