Clearly among the most powerful Kindred in the region, Nicolai oversees the Chicago area for the clan and has for a long time. It is clear that he believes now is the time for Clan Tremere to take over Chicago entirely, and his plans include promoting Abraham DuSable as the next Prince of the city.
He knows about Mr. Confetti and the new elders, and has assigned Jeremiah to "play Mr. Confetti's game" and to report on both him and Prince Modius.
