Mortals

Throughout Gary and Chicago there are a number of mortals who will appear as recurring characters in the Story. Some of these people have minor parts to play. But others are very dangerous and need to either be controlled or avoided.

Bill Falding -

VP, Superior Construction

Mitch Smaldey -

President, Superior Construction

Bill and Mitch are con artists who were tossed out of the landscaping business by a judge, but quickly recovered by creating Superior Construction, which up to this point has been superior only at scamming people out of their money. Pablo has put these two cretins under his control using Presence, and now they are on the path to making money more legitimately.

Adam Reeves -

Site Supervisor - Superior Construction

Very competent and grateful to have a good paying job after some bad recent times, the presence of newly acquired Adam Reeves is a big boost to the legitimacy of the company. He can manage any kind of job, and he's willing to work long hours to make sure the company thrives during its new upswing. He's an asset, for certain.

Gretchen Lucinder

Night Shift Plant Manager - Inland Power Company

Gretchen is a capable, competent, ambitious woman who understands the technology and business aspects of running a power company. Given the option to become a beautiful woman by Katarina, she has agreed, without further supernatural manipulation, to do whatever Katarina tells her to regarding Inland Power. Limited right now, the pair have big plans for Gretchen's future at the company.

Mort Johnson -

Plant Manager Waste Management- Gary Transfer Station

Mort is a tough, jaded person who has been through a recent divorce and, for the most part, hates his job. That is, until one night the beautiful Salilah came by his house and changed his life. He'll do pretty much anything she wants now. Anything at all.

Rolsten Parkerbeen -

Store Manager, Citgo Gas and Food

Rolsten is a whiny, stubborn petty little man who tries to hold onto the power of being a store manager with his last damn breath. It's all he has. Now he has to do what Marshall Barry tells him to, or else!

Samuel Lukos -

Head Librarian, Gary Public Library

Samuel has been frustrated with the system for a long time. He wants to have a great library but he gets no funding and no help from the corrupt local government. Losing the computers was the last straw.

Though now he is under the domination influence of Reverend Jeremiah Thomas, it didn't take much prodding from the Tremere at all. Samuel wants the library to be truly great, and if he needs to find some rare occult books on the side for his new master, that's a small price to pay.

Strohman - Butler for Prince Modius

Seemingly a very dignified, capable head of staff, it has been learned that Strohman has a deep, dark secret.

For at least a decade, he has been reporting to someone named Bronwyn on all of Prince Modius' plans and activities.

Brenda Guffinlaw -

Owner Solution Services Realty

When Brenda's husband died of natural causes, she inherited his business operation. She needs to make it work because she doesn't have a lot of money personally. She is willing to go to most lengths to make a fast buck, and so she has agreed without being manipulated through vampiric powers to side with Gangrel Elder Marshall Barry and assist him in acquiring properties in Gary that would suit the Hell's Angels biker club.

Russell Hampton

Weaponsmith at The Hotel

Russell has been brought in as support staff for the Contest of Will by Mr. Confetti.

He is a master of crafting weapons, specialized armor, and ammunition. If its doable, he can do it, and at a very high level. All of his weapons are tough to break, and fire accurately or have a razor sharp edge.

He can also modify and/or improve already existing weapons.
